What is Preferred Seat Option (PSo)?

PSo is an innovative program that offers travelers a chance to get Preferred Seats for their flights at a nominal price and makes the journey a lot more comfortable. With PSo, you may choose to get your favorite emergency exit aisle seat, or a window seat, or bulk-head seat or front row seat or any other special type of seat you may desire. The exact service offering depends on your airline and the aircraft operated on your flight. You sign-up for PSo by paying a nominal price and before departure, Optiontown may assign you the preferred seat and will notify you via email. If you are not assigned your preferred seat, your Preferred Seat Price will be refunded within 5 days after flight departure. So, get ready to make your flight experience a lot more comfortable!

For example, with AirAsia X, you can now use PSo to get their ultra-famous "Premium Seats" for a nominal price (up to 75% less than the regular fare!). The Premium Seats offer you more Legroom and seat pitch and are located more comfortably towards the front of the aircraft.

How can I use PSo to get Preferred Seats?
Using PSo is very simple.
1) You simply need to sign-up for PSo using the following steps
a)		Visit www.Optiontown.com and select Preferred Seat Option (PSo). Provide your Booking Reference, Last Name and Email to retrieve your booking.
b)		Select your desired Preferred Seat on any one or more flights in your booking.
c)		Pay a small Sign-up price and a nominal Preferred Seat Price to complete your PSo Sign-up.
2) The Preferred Seat assignment decision will be notified to you generally between 1-3 days before departure but no later than 4 hrs before departure. If Optiontown assigns you Preferred seats, you will enjoy more relaxed comfortable travel, or else if you are not assigned Preferred seats, the Preferred seat price for that flight will be automatically refunded to you within five business days after flight departure.
